‘That Girl’ is a late 60’s TV show starring Marlo Thomas. ‘Poison’ is an early 90’s hip hop song by Bel Biv Devoe, wherein we are told not to trust those with large posteriors and smiles. ‘Girl is’ is what you would say to sound like someone with a lisp saying ‘girlies’. ‘That Girl is Boysen’ is two years of Spontaneous Saison refermented with Boysenberries. Most of the acidity in this beer comes from the fruit, as we primarily used funky, dry barrels for the blend with some notes of aged hops and slightly tannic oak. Think of this blend as our Authentic SLO blend on fruit, and a great example of our further evolution, as we continue experimenting with blending, aging and brewing techniques at The Libertine.
